The electric drive motor for a circular pump has a conduit tube in which is arranged a drive shaft with a rotor of the motor, supported by a bearing structure at the front end of the tube. The bearing structure includes a fixed radial bearing part and a rotating ring part abutting the fixed part and attached to rotate with the drive shaft. A space divider (17) is provided in the tube (1). On one side this is attached to the drive shaft (10). The other side is fastened to the rotating part (7) of the bearing structure and defines a front ring space (20).
