摘要

The object is to develop a method and a composition which can improve the efficiency of homologous recombination between a modified nucleic acid and an intercellular nucleic acid in a cell (particularly, an animal cell or a plant cell); to prepare a transformed cell using the method; and to improve the efficiency of transformation of a host cell with an exogenous nucleic acid. The efficiency of homologous recombination can be improved by introducing a carrier nucleic acid that is homologous to a modified nucleic acid and/or an intracellular nucleic acid together with the modified nucleic acid into a host cell. The efficiency of transformation can be improved by introducing both an exogenous nucleic acid together with a carrier nucleic acid.
