Disclosed is a method for stabilization of reduced coenzyme Q10, which is characterized by adding a propylene glycol fatty acid ester to a composition containing reduced coenzyme Q10. Also disclosed is a composition comprising reduced coenzyme Q10 and a propylene glycol fatty acid ester as essential ingredients. Reduced coenzyme Q10 is useful as a food, a nutritional and functional food, a food for specified health uses, a nutritious supplement, a nutritional agent, a veterinary drug, a beverage, a feeding stuff, a cosmetic, a pharmaceutical, a therapeutic agent, a prophylactic agent or the like. Reduced coenzyme Q10 can be stabilized without the need of being formulated in a particularly complex composition.
