Disclosed herein are an automatic keyword input and search system and an automatic keyword input and search supporting method. The automatic keyword input system for automatically performing searches regardless of a type of operating system supporting the searches, a type of application program, and a type of content, includes a dragging means and an execution means. The dragging means performs dragging across a keyword from the start thereof to the end thereof using a mouse connected to a client. The execution means automatically performs a search for the keyword selected through the dragging.
