The invention relates to a holder for rolls of self-adhesive tape for painters, coach-builders and similar. The inventive holder is characterised in that it consists of a wristband which takes the form of a first considerably-wide band which can be closed on itself using Velcro®- or similar-type adhesives and a second narrower band which is disposed on the first band, which is provided at one end with a ring for folding same and which can also be closed using Velcro®-type adhesives. A metal plate is fixed to the first band preferably using rivets and a shaft, which enables the free rotation of the roll holder disk, extends perpendicularly from said plate. The wristband is provided with means for removably fixing same to the wrist of the operator and the shaft is solidly connected thereto. A roll holder disk is mounted on the aforementioned shaft, such that it can rotate freely thereon and is retained axially in relation to the shaft and said disk is suitably dimensioned and shaped in order to receive a roll under pressure and in a stable manner. In addition, the free end of the shaft is provided with a blind, threaded axial hole for receiving a screw, with the aid of a washer, which acts as an axial retaining means for the replaceable roll holder disk. The diameter of the roll holder disk is suited to that of the roll of tape and the preferably-truncated-cone-shaped periphery of the disk includes a plurality of ribs for the press-coupling of the tape roll.
