MICROORGANISM PREPARATION FOR PREVENTION OF HARMFUL GAS IN MEADOW, AGRICULTURAL FIELD, AQUACULTURE POND OR THE LIKE

Disclosed is a microorganism preparation for use in the prevention of the generation of a harmful gas such as methane, a nitrogen compound or a sulfide in a meadow, an agricultural field, a rice paddy, a lake or an aquaculture pond or the prevention of the generation of a harmful gas for the purpose of reducing greenhouse gas on a global scale. Also disclosed is a method for production of the microorganism preparation. The microorganism preparation comprises microorganisms belonging to the genera Bacillus, Lactobacillus, Streptococcus, Candida and Pichia and at least one microorganism selected from the group consisting of a nitrifying bacterium, a methanotrophic bacterium, a sulfate-reducing bacterium and a phototrophic bacterium, a rice bran, a palm oil residue, calcium lactate and a starch.
