The arrangement has a disk-shaped laser medium with reinforcing bandwidth corresponding to wavelength distance of oscillating multimode spectral regions. An etalon (6) is formed adjustable in inclination opposite to an optical axis, to restrict the oscillation of region, and an optical non-linear crystal provides frequency doubling. The thickness of the etalon is about 0.1 to 1 millimeter corresponding to disk thickness of the medium. The wavelength distance of the center wavelengths of the spectral regions results in a specific formula. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a multi mode operation during resonator internal frequency doubling.
