The terminal has a box (7) connected to an insulated case (3) by a positioning plate (4) on ground having a central opening corresponding to an upper opening of the case (3) which is in form of a chimney. The box has light walls and an opening (8) on its lateral side (9) closed by a door (10), and the case has an inner cylindrical wall formed of thermal insulating material. The central opening allows passage of a fluid meter assembly (2) connected to fluid inlet and outlet pipes (12, 13) via flexible junction units (18, 19) deployed inside the case and the box.
