METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSMITTING/RECEIVING THE CONTINUOUS PILOT IN MULTI-CARRIER SYSTEM

A method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving the continuous pilot in multi-carrier system, in which the transmitting method includes: after encoding the information bit stream to be transmitted in 2D via time-frequency domain, mapping the encoded bit stream to obtain the continuous pilot with encoded information, a moment later, according to the distribution of the load, the discrete pilot and the continuous pilot in sub-carrier, multiplexing the load, the discrete pilot and the continuous pilot which has encoded information and is obtained by mapping to produce frequency domain signals, and finally transforming the produced frequency domain signals via frequency-time domain to obtain the time domain sample points. The receiving method includes: after extracting the continuous pilot in the active carrier of the multi-carrier signals, decoding the extracted continuous pilot via the time-frequency domain to obtain the decoded information. The information can be transmitted reliably without the extra bandwidth resource via carrying information using encoding manner in the continuous pilot.
