Heat exchanger for a diagnostic X-ray generator with rotary anode type X-ray tube

The heat exchanger has a double-walled metallic body that is provided, where a cooling medium flows through the metallic body. The metallic body encircles a rotary anode tube (1) in a distance of less than 20 millimeter in the region of an anode plate, where an inner side of the metallic body is provided with an infrared absorbing coating. The inner side is broken by a window (16) for an X-ray utilizable bundle (17). A circulation pump (22) forces a flow of oil at boundary surfaces of the heat exchanger for oil filling (21).
