METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING BRAILLE-POINTS DATA AND OUTPUTTING BRAILLE-POINTS DATA

A method and a system for offering/outputting Braille data are provided to enable a blind person to quickly/correctly receive information for contents and output the Braille data by making the Braille data from text data which is extracted from the text data of the contents. A content information database(210) links/stores a content ID related to the contents and the text data extracted from the contents. A text searching module(220) searches the text data matched with the content ID by referring to the content information database in response to an information request for the content ID. A Braille data converting module(230) converts the search text data into binary data and combines the binary data to the Braille data readable in a Braille data output system. A Braille data transmitting module(240) transmits the Braille data to the Braille data outputting module. The system outputs the Braille data to a Braille output panel and keeps the output Braille data until a selected condition is satisfied by controlling a Braille printing module.
