A device for automatically converting an ID/password and a method for logging in to a website through automatic ID/password conversion are provided to remove need for diversifying the ID/password for each website while storing no account information to a local site. An ID/password interceptor(501) intercepts the ID/password inputted when a user(500) connects to each website(505-1~505-n). A converter(503) maps and converts the ID/password received from the ID/password interceptor by using website ID information received from each website and a personal authentication code received from each user as a key value. An input part(502) receives the ID/password of the user from the ID/password interceptor, receives the website ID information from each website, receives the personal authentication code from the user, and provides the received data to the converter. A transmitter(504) provides the ID/password converted/provided from the converter when the user logs in to the website.
