A food supply method and a device of a rotary food table are provided to roughly put food dishes on a supply conveyor without densely arranging the dishes, by individually driving a short conveyor body installed at a circulation path of the supply conveyor and a long conveyor body far apart from the circulation path. In the food supply method of a rotary food table having a circulation path(18) installed on the upper side of a base(12) to circulate and convey food dishes, a supply conveyor(24) is directly connected to the circulation path from an inner peripheral side and composed of a short conveyor body(26) installed at the circulation path and a long conveyor body(28) mounted on a part far apart from the circulation path, wherein the conveyor bodies are driven separately. The food dishes are put on the supply conveyor. The food dishes are supplied to the circulation path and the following food dishes are conveyed to the circulation path and set as a sensor disposed at a part where the supply conveyor is directly connected to the circulation path, detects absence of the food dishes on the circulation path and the supply timing of the food dishes fed from the supply conveyor.
