摘要

Provided is an urea-formaldehyde resin capable of adhering rice and barley straws to form a particle board which can replace wood material and create a high added value. The urea-formaldehyde resin which is useful to adhere rice and barley straws to a particle board, is obtained by mixing a formaldehyde and a urea with molar ratio of 1.15, injecting the mixture into glass reactor and condensing the mixture by using alkaline catalyst for 5 minutes, and polycondensing the mixture by using acidic catalyst for 10 minutes. A composition of the particle board is produced by cutting the rice and barley straws into size of 12-3.5 mesh. The composition is adhered by the urea-formaldehyde resin.
