BACKLIGHT UNIT, LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MODULE HAVING THE SAME, AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY MODULE

A backlight unit, an LCD module having the same, and a method for assembling the LCD module are provided to prevent the bright lines due to movement between a reflective sheet and a light guiding plate, by forming a pad to overlap a cutting line of the reflective sheet and pressurizing a portion, which overlaps the cutting line, of the light guiding plate. A backlight unit comprises a light guiding plate(124) and an optical sheet(126). The optical sheet is disposed at a rear surface of the light guiding plate, and reflects the light emitted from a lamp(120). The optical light has a cutting line formed on at least one side thereof. A pad(150) is formed on a rear surface of the optical sheet, wherein the pad overlaps the cutting line. The backlight unit further comprises a lamp housing(116) wrapping the lamp and the light guiding plate, and other optical sheets(130,132,134,136) disposed on the light guiding plate.
