A method for forming a film, an apparatus for forming the film, a method for disposing liquid crystals, an apparatus for disposing the liquid crystals, a method for manufacturing an LCD, and an electronic device are provided to dispose the liquid crystals on a substrate uniformly, by dropping liquid droplets on a substrate at a predetermined pitch. Liquid droplets are dropped onto a substrate(20) at a predetermined pitch(P1), thereby forming a film on the substrate. A length of the predetermined pitch is longer than 50 percents and shorter than 150 percents of the diameters of liquid droplets, which are dropped on the substrate. A length of the predetermined pitch is roughly equal to the diameters of the liquid droplets after dropping of the liquid droplets. The liquid droplets are dropped on the substrate for forming an alignment film.
