A rotary member unbalance sensing device of an electrical appliance is provided to accurately and simply detect movement of a rotary member of the electrical appliance caused by unbalance. A rotary member unbalance sensing device of an electrical appliance comprises: a housing(2); a weight(14) moved at the housing by depending on movement of a rotary member caused by unbalance; first and second springs(10,12) operated to the weight to maintain the weight at an initial position by idling; and a fluid damper operated to the weight to slow movement of the weight for escaping from the initial position. The weight is disposed between the first and second springs: the first spring adjacent to a first lateral side(16) of the weight; and the second spring adjacent to a second lateral side(18) of the weight. The weight is a cylinder having a certain diameter or circular section, separated from the springs. A gap between the weight and a housing main body(8) is generated by difference of outer diameter of the weight and an inner diameter of the housing main body.
