METHOD OF KNITTING KNITTED PANTS, KNITTED PANTS, AND KNITTING PROGRAM FOR KNITTING PANTS BY WEFT KNITTING MACHINE

A method of knitting knitted pants knitted by using a weft knitting machine, wherein the pants are knitted starting at the part on the upper side of a crotch and the downside of the leg part on one of the right and left sides to the part on the upper side of the crotch and the downside of the leg part on the other side. The pants are knitted by using the following steps so that a length between the downside of a front-side knitted part to a crotch part is shorter than a length between the downside of a back-side knitted part to the crotch part. The steps comprise a first step for knitting by connecting the part on the upper side of the crotch to the downside of the leg part on one side, a second step for knitting the part on the upper side of the crotch with the front-side knitted part of the leg part on one side and knitting the part on the upper side of the crotch with the back-side knitted part of the leg part on one side, a third step for welt-stitching by joining the crotch lower inside joining part of the leg part on one side, a fourth step for knitting by connecting the crotch lower inner side joining part of the leg part on the other side, a fifth step for knitting the part of the upper side of the crotch with the front- side knitted part of the leg part on the other side and knitting the part on the upper side of the crotch with the back-side knitted part of the leg part on the other side, and a sixth step for weft-stitching by joining the part on the upper side of the crotch with the downside of the leg part on the other side. By this knitting method, more fitted knitted pants visually attractive in wearing can be provided.
