A knitting method for an intersia pattern, wherein a yarn feeder is reciprocated one time for a district in which the boundary of the intersia pattern varies discontinuously and the yarn supply end position and the next yarn supply start position of the yarn feeder give a jump to form stitches in the district concerned half and half in the advancing route and the retreating route. Thus, even if the boundary of the intersia pattern varies discontinuously, the jumping of the yarn does not occur.
