Provided are a coating composition which is remarkably improved in abrasion resistance, a method for forming a multilayered coating film by using the composition, and a coated product using the composition. The coating composition (A) an acrylic resin; (C) a polyisocyanate prepolymer; and optionally (B) a polylactone polyol in an amount of A/B = 60/40 to 100/0 by weight, wherein the acrylic resin has (a1) a short side chain hydroxyl group and (a2) a long side chain hydroxyl group in a ratio of a1/a2 = 3/1 to 1/3 by mol, and the amount of an isocyanate groups of the polyisocyanate prepolymer to the total amount of hydroxyl groups of the acrylic resin and the polylactone polyol (c/(a+b)) is 1/0.3 to 1/2.0 by mol.
