ONTOLOGY AND DTD MATCHING METHOD FOR EFFICIENT XML QUERY SEARCH

摘要

A method for matching ontology and DTD(Data Type Definition) for efficient XML(eXtensible Markup Language) query search is provided to raise efficiency of XML information search by making the reduced ontology generate only the query necessary for a search target XML document. The ontology is generated, and a concept and property class is generated by using the ontology. A tree structure comprising nodes containing link information of a parent node is generated by using the tree structure of the DTD. The reduced ontology is generated by matching the ontology with the DTD.
