A system and a method for an electronic name card service, a device and the method for authenticating an electronic name card, and a computer-readable recording medium for the same are provided to issue the trusted electronic name card to a user wanting to clarify identification in the communication environment. A memory(112) stores an application program for processing the electronic name card service. An agency manager(118) stores and manages information for the users included in an agency from an agency server wanting to use the electronic name card service. A user authenticator(120) authenticates the legal user connected through a user terminal. A user information collector(122) receives name card data of an electronic name card applicant confirmed as the legal user from the agency server. An electronic name card issuer(124) generates the electronic name card by using the collected name card information. An encoder(126) encodes and transmits the generated electronic name card to the user terminal.
