THE CASTING METHOD OF CONCRETE SLAB FOR CONTINUOUS BRIDGE USING BALLAST WAGON

A cast-in-place method of a concrete slab in a continuous bridge using a ballast wagon is provided to place concrete slabs of a continuous bridge continuously, to prevent the excessive stress placed on a steel girder and the crack formation of a concrete slab using a ballast wagon and to utilize for various construction conditions by loading a ballast wagon with various materials such as concrete blocks, soil, sand, gravel, water, etc. A cast-in-place method of a concrete slab in a continuous bridge using a ballast wagon comprises the steps of: installing a steel girder(10) on the whole upper part of each pier(40) in a construction section of a continuous bridge; installing a form traveler(30) and a ballast wagon(50) on the upper part of the steel girder to move along a rail; and placing concrete slabs(20) continuously from an upper part of the steel girder to the other upper part of the steel girder using the form traveler, whereon the ballast wagon is located on a place with occurrence of negative moment ahead of a place with the concrete slabs placed to prevent the transformation of the concrete slab.
