STUB PRINTED DIPOLE ANTENNA(SPDA), THE DESIGN METHODOLOGY FOR THE STRUCTURES

A stub printed dipole antenna and a method for designing the structure are provided to have a wideband or multiband characteristic with a simple structure of receiving a center feed through a parallel metal strip line having a stub. In a stub printed dipole antenna, dipole arms are installed at both surfaces of a substrate to transmit and receive signals. Parallel metal strip line transmission lines are placed at both surfaces of the substrate, and one side of the parallel metal strip line transmission line is connected to the dipole arm and the other side thereof is connected to a coaxial probe and a stub so as to feed the dipole arms. The stubs are located at both surfaces of the substrate and connected to the parallel metal strip line transmission line and the coaxial probe. The coaxial probe is connected to the parallel metal strip line transmission line and the stub to feed the dipole arms. An inner conductor of the coaxial probe is inserted into a hole. A contact device(21) is connected to an outer conductor of the coaxial probe.
