METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A CONTENTS FILE LIST UPDATE PROCESS FROM THE INTEROPERABLE WIRELESS INTERNET PLATFORM WHICH IS EMBODIED IN MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS TERMINAL

A method for managing updating of a contents file list in a WIPI(Wireless Internet Platform for Interoperability) of a mobile terminal is provided to enhance the quality of a wireless Internet service at the user side is degraded and reduce a service cost. When an external memory is discovered, a terminal control module selectively generates a new contents file list reflecting particulars of contents files mounted in the external memory and temporarily stores it(S10). A user selects a wireless Internet service by pressing a particular keypad to execute a WIPI, and in this state, when a WIPI management module asks about whether to update its contents file list, the terminal control module immediately provides the temporarily stored new contents file list to the WIPI management module(S20).
