METHOD FOR CONFIRMATION AND CHANGE MODE AT BASE STATION SYSTEM OF MULTI-MODE

A mode inquiry and change method in a base station system for supporting multiple modes is provided to be capable of confirming the currently set operational mode to notify components which operate in multiple modes of the confirmed operational mode, so that the components can properly cope with the current operational mode. An operational mode change request signal which includes information on a node for changing an operational mode is received(S510,S520). It is confirmed whether the operational mode of the node is changeable, by using the operational mode change request signal(S530). If so, the operational mode set on the node is changed according to the operational mode change request signal(S540,S550). Node information which includes information on the changed operational mode is generated, and an application component required for the changed operational mode is loaded on the node(S560,S570).
