Provided is a method for manufacturing Mn-Zn ferrite powder using a coprecipitation method, which collects high-purity zinc and high value-added Mn-Zn ferrite powder and saves an additional process cost by using a remaining filtrate after precipitation. The method for manufacturing Mn-Zn ferrite powder from waste manganese batteries using a coprecipitation method comprises the steps of: (a) breaking waste manganese batteries physically, sorting the broken manganese batteries using magnetic force, and obtaining powder using meshes; (b) mixing the waste manganese battery powder of the step (a) with an alkali leaching solution, followed by collecting zinc using electrowinning; (c) collecting the remaining alkali-leaching filtrate from the used alkali-leaching solution of the step (b); (d) mixing the residue remaining after zinc collection of the step (b) with an acid leaching solution, and then removing carbon and plastic through leaching; (e) replenishing the remaining leaching filtrate of the step (d) with Mn, Zn, and Fe and blending the admixture; (f) adding the alkali-leaching filtrate of the step (c) for pH control during blending of the step (e), and then subjecting the mixture to coprecipitation; (g) oxidizing the mixture obtained from the step (f); (h) filtrating the resultant obtained from the step (g); and (i) drying the resultant obtained from the step (h).
