PARAFOIL, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR DEPLOYMENT OF PARAFOIL

A parafoil and an apparatus and a system for deploying the parafoil are provided to maximize introduction of air to a canopy nose when a canopy is separated. A parafoil includes a canopy(310), a rope(320), and at least one ring(350a,350b,350c). The canopy functions as a wing. The rope connects the canopy and a carried object. The ring is located at an upper end portion of a canopy nose. The ring is connected to a propelling body and is connected so as to be separated from an injection molded deployment bag. If a force above a predetermined value is applied to the ring, the ring is separated from the deployment bag.
