Single use cosmetic article, comprises a water-insoluble support impregnated in a lotion having water, an alcohol and/or a polyol, each present at 1 wt.% and an ester at 0.05 wt.% of fatty acid and oxyalkylenated sorbitan. An independent claim is included for a process of cosmetic treatment of the keratinous matters comprising passing the article on the matters and optionally rinsing the matters.
