Intelligent magic viewer management techniques for an intelligent home network context-aware service is provided to supply context-aware techniques and service techniques suitable for the future ubiquitous network environment, so that the techniques can be expected to be the foundation for embodiment of the home network service. Intelligent magic viewer management techniques for an intelligent home network context-aware service controls the operation of a magic viewer by sensing the location of a user based on a signal, inputted from a location sensor, and recognizing user's face with a camera. The above techniques comprises the following functions of: constructing profile information of users; constructing pattern information for recognizing user's face; implementing an extendable model for expressing an actual device; and implementing a model for receiving a location of a user and face recognition information.
