THE HERBS ADDITIVE OF FEEDSTUFF TO BREEDING OF BIRDS FOR POULTRY FARMING

摘要

An herbal feed additive useful as a substitute for antibiotics for raising chickens prepared by mixing powders of Scutellariae Radix, Coptidis Rhizoma, Codonopsis pilosula, Fossilia Ossis and Poria cocos is provided. The feed additive increases the health of chicken and prevents antibiotic abuse when fed to chickens during rearing. The herbal feed additive useful as a substitute for antibiotics is obtained by mixing Scutellariae Radix, Coptidis Rhizoma, Codonopsis pilosula, Fossilia Ossis Mastodi and Poria cocos Wolf fungi at the same weight ratio and grinding. In the feed additive, Gardeniae Fructus and Moutan Radicis Cortex or the dried rhizome of rehmannia and Liriopis Tuber can be added instead of Fossilia Ossis Mastodi and Poria cocos Wolf fungi.
