An automatic wet-type sieve analysis device and a soil classification method using the same are provided to precisely classify the soil according to the particle size and to use the soil left in each test sieve as the test soil evaluating geotextiles and the effective hole size of the related products. The automatic wet-type sieve analysis device having a frame supporting soil classifying sieves(121) vertically stacked according to the size of a mesh is composed of an upper lid unit(110) formed like a closed cylinder and composed of a water filling pipe(111) installed at an upper plate(112) and a lower plate(113) having plural spraying holes(114); a sieve classifying unit(120) installed at the lower side of the upper lid unit, formed with an opened upside, and provided with cylindrical test sieves(122) equipped with the soil classifying sieves and stacked at the lower inside; and a cylindrical lower drain unit(130) formed at the lower side of the sieve classifying unit, formed with an opened upside, and provided with a downward inclined plate(131) installed at the inside and a drain pipe(132) formed at the lower lateral side. The automatic wet-type sieve analysis device prevents the soil remaining in the sieve mesh from being stuck on the sieve by flowing the water injected through the water filling pipe along the sieve classifying unit.
