TEST METHOD AND TEST APPARATUS FOR DENSITY OF SOIL TO USE IN PLACE USING THE WATER AND SHEET

A method and an apparatus for testing density of soil using water and a sheet instead of standard sand are provided to rapidly measure the volume of a test hole through a volume measurement scale scored at a cylindrical water bath. An apparatus for testing density of soil using water and a sheet includes a cylindrical body(100), a cylindrical water bath(200), a lower plate(300), a sheet insert fixing device(400), a flexible sheet(500), and a sheet blocking wall. The cylindrical body has an open groove(110) having a predetermined width and a height formed along a longitudinal direction to pass through inner and outer surfaces. The cylindrical water bath is installed at an inner center of the cylindrical body to store water. The lower plate is adhered to a lower surface of the cylindrical body and has a cavity formed at its center. The sheet insert fixing device is inserted into the open groove of the cylindrical body. The flexible sheet is fixed to the sheet insert fixing device. The sheet blocking wall is fixed to an outer periphery of the cylindrical body.
