A remote control apparatus of cranes is provided to prevent mismatch between a crane to be controlled and a crane on a display unit. A remote control apparatus remotely controls a plurality of cranes performing unloading work in a container yard. The remote control apparatus includes a reception unit(27) and a display unit. The reception unit receives image signals from the cranes. The display unit displays an image based on the received image signal. Identification information of the cranes which is a reception source of the image signal is displayed on the display unit. The remote control apparatus includes a remote control unit, a comparison unit, and a notification unit. The remote control unit transmits a control instruction to the cranes. The comparison unit compares the identification information of the cranes displayed on the display unit with identification information of a crane which is to be controlled. The notification unit notifies the comparison result.
