An automatic controlling apparatus of amount of body ply semi manufactured goods joint overlap is provided to allow automatic measuring the amount of joint overlap and automatic correcting the length of joint overlap to keep accurate joint overlap. The automatic controlling apparatus of amount of body ply semi manufactured goods joint overlap comprises: a body ply semi manufactured goods(1); a conveyor(2) supplying the body ply; a molding drum(3) to wind up the body ply semi manufactured goods(1); a cutter of the body ply semi manufactured goods(1); a laser(10) irradiating laser to the body ply joint part in the longitudinal direction; a digital camera for photographing the above body ply joint part; a sub motor determining the length of body ply semi manufactured goods(1); and a PC to control the rotation of the sub motor.
