A METHOD FOR ANALYZING MUTUAL RELATION OF ALARMS IN A SYNCHRONOUS OPTICAL TRANSMISSION NETWORK

A method for analyzing the alarm relativity in an optical synchronous transmission network analyzes the alarm relativity among various nodes by alarming in a path passing from upstream nodes to downstream nodes. The method analyzes the alarm relativity between a service layer path node and a client layer path node by AIS and SSF effecting a client layer. The method of the relativity present invention overcomes disadvantages in existence technology, which can only analyze the relativity in some kinds of the alarms, but can not analyze that a upstream alarm makes a effect on a same type of a downstream alarm by traffic configuration information, and can not analyze that one alarm may be raised by many failures. The method can analyze all kinds of alarm information, confirm the effect on a downstream alarm by a upstream alarm, analyze one alarm might be raised by many failures, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of analyzing. ® KIPO & WIPO 2007
