A preparation method of a carbon source for advanced sewage and wastewater treatment is provided to reduce the production amount of sludge and obtain a carbon source used for removing nutrients and the like by a mesophilic-thermophilic hybrid anaerobic acid fermentation process. In a preparation method of a carbon source for advanced sewage and wastewater treatment using sewage sludge, the preparation method comprises: a first step of flowing the sewage sludge into a mesophilic acid fermentation tank(4) to perform hydrolysis and acid fermentation of the sewage sludge; a second step of flowing effluent of the mesophilic acid fermentation tank into a settling tank(1) to separate solids and an acid fermentation liquid from the effluent; a third step of flowing the separated solids into a thermophilic acid fermentation tank(5) to additionally perform hydrolysis and acid fermentation of the solids; a fourth step of transferring effluent produced in the step(3) to the mesophilic acid fermentation tank; and a fifth step of producing an acid fermentation liquid to be utilized as a carbon source for advanced sewage and wastewater treatment from a settling tank(6).
