A computer-readable recording medium storing an efficient database for multimodal biometric recognition system and a registration/authentication method using the same are provided to offer a database structure capable of efficiently processing a biometric recognition service request using multimodal biometric information. A personal information part(110) stores personal information including a user ID, registration information including the first registration date and client, and biometric information of the user. A multimodal search history part(120) provides a multimodal search result and a candidate list when a search service is provided to the user. An authentication history part(130) stores a transaction ID to authenticate the user, information of a client system requesting authentication, and the information of the user information to be authenticated and an authentication result. A statistics manager(140) records a result value providing the biometric information service and manages transaction information of the multimodal biometric recognition system.
