A ladder structure for emergency escape from a building is provided to escape from a building safely and quickly in an emergency such as a fire by descending a ladder installed on the outside of a veranda railing to the lower part and going down to the downstairs safely. The ladder structure for emergency escape from a building, installed to an auxiliary veranda(30) installed to the outside of a railing(20) of a veranda(10) for going down to an auxiliary veranda of the downstairs and escaping from emergent circumstances, includes an opening and closing plate(40) coupled to the bottom(32) of the auxiliary veranda by hinges rotatively to open and close a passage(33) formed on the bottom, one or more clamps installed on the bottom to fix and unfix the opening and closing plates on the bottom to keep the passage closed and opened by the opening and closing plate, and a ladder(60) installed on the upper part of the opening and closing plate and formed by coupling many sectional ladders(62A,62B,62C) to make relative movement by sliding, wherein the sectional ladders contain a pair of posts parallel to each other at a certain distance and steps fixed to connect the posts to let people step on for going up and down.
