METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SYNCHRONIZING PROTEIN INFORMATION OF PROTEIN-PROTEIN INTERACTION NETWORK

A method and a system for synchronizing protein information of a protein-protein interaction network are provided to remove a problem of modifying protein-protein interaction information whenever the protein information is updated and automatically keep the latest information of the protein-protein interaction network by synchronizing with global protein information. A global protein database(110) stores publicly provided protein information. A protein-protein interaction network database(150) stores sets of the protein-protein interaction information. A local protein database(140) stores information for protein corresponding to the protein-protein interaction network database. A global synchronizer(131) updates the local protein database with the latest information by synchronizing the protein information selected/received from the global protein database with the protein information of the local protein database. A local synchronizer(133) updates the global protein database with the latest information by synchronizing the synchronized protein information from the local protein database with the protein information of the global protein database.
