A method for promoting interaction among learners in real-time collaborative learning using a chatting tool is provided to promote the interaction among the learners in the real-time collaborative learning by analyzing an interaction index of the learns and a learning group through collaboration calculation whenever real-time collaboration is generated among the learners, and informing the learners of the analyzed interaction indexes. The real-time collaboration index among the learners is updated by confirmation among the learners using the chatting tool during the collaborative learning. A transmitting/receiving index is updated whenever the learner transceives a chatting message. A collaboration promotion guide message is sent according to a deviation of the real-time collaboration index or the transceiving index(304). An individual transmitting index is calculated by a ratio between individual message transmitting count and the number of all learners belonging to the same group. An individual receiving index is calculated by the ratio between individual message receiving count and the number of all learners belonging to the same group.
