METHOD FOR ENHANCING USABILITY IN A SPOKEN DIALOG SYSTEM

A method for enhancing convenience in a spoken dialog interface system is provided to offer a user-friendly service while reducing input load of a user by constructing various information databases including user information and user environment setting information by learning a user usage pattern. A convenience enhancement information database for storing available information to enhance the convenience of the spoken dialog interface system is constructed(210). An event for starting search of the convenience enhancement information database and a use condition of the searched information are set(220). If the event for starting the search is generated, it is checked the use condition of the information searched in relation to the event is satisfied by searching the database(230). If the use condition is satisfied, the searched information is used to one of processes for recognizing a voice, analyzing an input sentence, processing a dialog, and generating an output sentence(240).
