摘要

A multimedia message receiving/transmission system and an MMS(Multimedia Messaging Service) server are provided to receive information only which is not previously stored, among multimedia data to be currently received, thereby solving repeated receiving and storing problems of the multimedia data. A multimedia message receiver(131) analyzes a message, notifying that a multimedia message arrives, to check whether multimedia file information exists, and if so, the receiver(131) confirms whether the file information is identical with multimedia file information stored in an internal memory, and if not, the receiver(131) demands multimedia data to an MMS server(120) to receive the demanded data, and if the file information is identical, the receiver(131) demands information only except the corresponding multimedia data to the server(120) to receive the demanded information only. If the information except partial multimedia data is inputted, a multimedia message display(132) combines the inputted information with multimedia data stored in the internal memory to display the combined information on a screen.
