USER PREFERENCE ANNOTATION SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING THE NEXT GENERATION WEB SERVICE

A system for annotating user preference to support a next generation web service is provided to assign semantic information to the user preference required for a semantic web service by using the OWL. A module log checker(100) checks preference information used by a user and automatically forms the preference of a new service based on the checked preference information. A service log viewer(200) supplies the checked preference information to a user interface. A service ontology searcher(300) searches a desired service from an ontology list file and transfers a result to the user interface. An OWL extractor(400) enables the user to select service information annotated in owl:Class by searching the owl:Class. An ontClass generating(600) generates an OWL document for one service. An ontProperty generator(700) generates an OWL syntax by converting constraints of the service annotated in the OWL into property expression included in the OWL. A user preference document maker(900) generates the user preference as an annotated OWL and XML(eXtensible Markup Language) file.
