AIR-CONDITIONER AND INDOOR UNIT FOR THE SAME

An air conditioner and an indoor unit thereof are provided to reduce a defective rate of a chassis and a louver unit by simplifying the mold structures of the chassis and the louver unit. An air conditioner includes a cabinet, a louver unit(140), and a louver attaching/detaching unit. The cabinet has an air inlet. The louver unit is arranged at the air inlet of the cabinet. The louver attaching/detaching unit attaches/detaches the louver unit to/from the air inlet of the cabinet. The louver unit includes a plurality of ribs(142) arranged in a row, and a plurality of louvers(144) placed between the ribs. The ribs are arranged vertically. Each louver is inclined to the rib at a predetermined angle. The louver attaching/detaching unit comprises a guide(145) formed in the cabinet so that at least one end of the louver unit is inserted into the guide.
