A status information reporting method of a high-speed Internet subscriber home device and the high-speed Internet subscriber home device are provided to allow a remote server to monitor the failure or error of a high-speed Internet home device, store the state history, and determine an abnormal state, thereby quickly and accurately coping with an abnormal situation. An Internet subscriber modem(210) connects a network line to a computing device(300) and processes signals for an Internet service. A status information report processing unit(220) collects link status information of the network line in accordance with signal processing of the Internet subscriber modem(210) and communication status information of the computing device(300), and transmits the collected status information to a remote server(400) through a telephone service of the network line.
