A method and a device for managing state information in an embedded system are provided to enable applications of each hardware unit to obtain/synchronize the system state information managed by an MCU in the embedded system. The first unit(200) includes at least one application(210) requesting registration for synchronizing the state information of the embedded system and stores the received state information. The second unit(100) manages ID information of each application(110) for requesting the registration and transmits the state information of the embedded system to the application corresponding to the ID information. The second unit includes a list storage part(150) storing the ID information of each application requesting the registration, the first state storing part storing the state information of the embedded system, and a state manager(130) transmitting the state information stored in the first state storing part to the application of the first unit corresponding to the ID information stored in the list storing part.
