AUTHENTICATION METHOD, SYSTEM, SERVER AND RECORDING MEDIUM FOR CONTROLLING MOBILE COMMUNICATION TERMINAL BY USING ENCRYPTION ALGORITHM

An authentication method, a system, a server, and a recording medium for controlling a mobile communication terminal by using an encryption algorithm are provided to raise the security level of the mobile communication terminal by preventing a non-authenticated user from using contents stored in the mobile communication terminal. An authentication system includes a user terminal(110) and an authentication server(150). When a user succeeds in a log-in process, the user terminal generates or receives a random number, transmits the random number, requests an authentication on the random number and receives first authentication information. The user terminal generates second authentication information by using the random number, compares the first and second authentication information with each other to perform the authentication process. The authentication server receives a log-in request from the user terminal, receives the random number fro the user terminal, and processes the random number by using an encryption algorithm to generate the first authentication information. The authentication server transmits the first authentication information to the user terminal.
