MICRORING RESONATOR FILTER WITH VARIABLE BANDWIDTH AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A micro ring resonator filter having a variable bandwidth and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to express a transfer characteristic from a particular resonator by applying voltages to residual conductors except for the conductor of the particular resonator. A micro ring resonator filter includes a linear bus waveguide, a plurality of ring waveguides(201-204), and a plurality of conductors(211-214). The light penetrates the linear bus waveguide. The ring waveguides are separated from the linear bus waveguide. The ring waveguides are coupled partially with the light penetrating the linear bus waveguide in order to be resonated. The conductors apply voltages to the ring waveguides in order to change refractive indexes of the ring waveguides. The ring waveguides are circle or ring shapes having different radiuses.
