A ring-finger protein gene(CaRFP1) is provided to be used for searching the existence of the disease-resistance in a plant and also provide an environmental-resistant transgenic plant. A ring-finger protein gene(CaRFP1) related to plant disease defense includes a sequence described as SEQ ID : NO. 1 isolated from Capsicum annuum L. cv. Hanbyul. The recombinant vector comprises the gene. The mouseear cress is transformed by the gene or the recombinant vector. The method for searching the resistance of a plant comprises the steps of: (a) after isolating RNA from a pepper and electrophoresing it, transitioning it to a nylon membrane; and (b) reacting the plant obtained from the step(a) with the CaRFP1 gene probe treated with P^32 and then identifying differential expression of the CaRFP1 gene, wherein pathogenic bacteria or non-pathogenic bacteria of Xanthomonas campestris pv. vesicatoria.
